My approach to design & planting
When it’s time to replant, I lean on species that work with Melbourne’s seasons.
For design and planting work, I favour Australian native and reset-friendly species — plants that die back and come again — so the garden needs less rescuing over time. That’s the philosophy behind the redesigns. It’s not a condition of working together: if you just want the lawn mowed or a garden tidied up and brought back under control, that’s exactly as welcome, no replanting required.
